The Moth Workshop

The ability to tell a good story is essential for engaging audiences in any professional sphere. On August 3rd, HYPOTHEkids provided high school program participants and alumni with a free opportunity to hone their storytelling skills through a day-long workshop facilitated by experts from The Moth, the world-renowned podcast and live storytelling event. Workshop participants were terrific sports! They earnestly took part in creative icebreakers that warmed up their imaginations and established a safe environment for sharing. Then they learned what makes a story work and applied these principles to their own powerful narratives. After crafting stories in small groups, 10 brave souls presented at the culminating StorySLAM.
