Students learn what a constellation is and how it is used for navigation. They understand that people from different parts of the world have seen different shapes in the stars, giving constellations unique names and creating stories or myths about them. Students then create their own constellations using glow-in-the-dark stickers on black poster board and share the myth or story behind their design.
